Registration Questions

  • Can I transfer to another Bear Grylls Survival Race?

    In the unfortunate event that you can no longer participate in the Bear Grylls Survival Race we cannot provide a refund, but we do allow transfers to an alternative race or to a new participant for £5 each.

    1. Please go to and login.
    2. Under My Events, select ‘No’ to the event you do not want to attend.
    3. Select the Transfer Ticket button that appears.
    4. Select the event or enter the email for the participant you wish to transfer to from the drop down menu on the second line, click ‘select’.
    5. If there is a charge for transferring your ticket, or a difference in ticket price, it will now be displayed.
    6. Please click on “Next”
    7. You will be taken to the payment screen, please enter your information.
    8. A confirmation message will appear, along with a confirmation email.

  • Can team members start at different times?

    We suggest that Teams start in the same heat so they can compete together and help eachother out. But, it is not a requirement to start at the same time. Remember our core value – Together we are stronger!

  • How many people do I need in a team to benefit from a group discount?

    You must register the MINIMUM number of participants required for the discount. If you want to qualify for a group of 4+, you need to enter 4 participants into your booking. If you wish to qualify for a group of 10+, you need to enter 10 participants.

    You must register all participants at the same time on the Trumin website in order to receive a group discount. Please note you must select ‘pay later’ if you wish them to pay for themselves; or select ‘pay now’ if you wish to pay for them. Once they are invited to a group they must follow the link in the invite to pay in order to receive the group discount. They will BE SUBECT TO PRICE INCREASES ACCORDING TO THE DATE THEY PAY; they will pay the price of a group ticket according to the date on which they follow the pay link.

    If you add additional members to your group booking, and you move from a group of 4+ to 10+, you will only be eligible for a group of 4+. This applies to both a group of 4 discount and a group of 10 discount. If you initially register 6 participants, and later add 6 more participants to your group, you will only be entitled to a group of 4 discount.

  • What do I get with my race entry fee?

    – Finisher’s reward (medal, BG Survival Race T-shirt)

After The Race Questions

  • What happens at the end of the race?

    Collect your finisher’s rewards including Medal and T-shirt. Celebrate with your team members, loved ones and other survivors. Look out for Bear Grylls in the Bear Grylls Survival Festival and enjoy entertainment, live music & activities with your family and friends.

  • Where do I find my race results and photos?

    Some imagery will go on to Facebook but all photos will be posted on our website soon after the event.

BG Kids Race Questions

  • Bear Grylls Kids Race

    – All Accompanying adults must hold a festival ticket

    – The BG KIDS race is for ages 4-13 years old

    – The distances will vary depending on children’s age & ability

    – Adults are welcome to run alongside their children and do not need to purchase a race ticket.

    – All children will be rewarded with a medal and a T-shirt

    – All tickets include entry into the festival

    – All Accompanying adults must hold a festival ticket

    – We recommend a change of cloths and shoes for children who may get very muddy during the course. Don’t forget warm cloths & a bag to take wet cloths home in

    – There will be a changing tent provided for children to use after the race.

  • How do you register for the BG Kids Race?

    – Select the event location you wish to attend (Cambridge, Edinburgh, Manchester, London). Select the BG Kids Race tab on the left side of the page.

  • Can I register on the day?

    Yes, on the day BG Kids Race tickets are £20 per cub.

  • What do I need to bring with me?

Bear Grylls Survival Festival Questions

  • What does my Festival Ticket include?

    – Festival entry all weekend

    – Access to our world class vendors & gourmet food section

    – Activities the whole family will enjoy

    – A chance to test some survival challenges

    – Superior viewing access to the race

    – Live music & entertainment on the Survival Stage

    – Whilst race tickets include festival entry, festival tickets do not allow participation in Survival Races.

  • Is there Parking at the Festival?

    There will be no parking unless you have Pre-purchased a parking ticket. Due to limited availability of parking we recommend that you catch public transport to the event. Limited parking is available for £10.

  • Children at the Festival

    Children under 12 will be granted access on the presentation of ID when accompanied by a full paying adult
    The Cubs race will be held in the festival therefor accompanying guardians who do not hold an adult race ticket must purchase a festival ticket.

Parking Questions

  • Can I pay for parking on the day?

    No, you cannot purchase parking on the day. Please ensure to purchase parking early as there are limited spots available.

  • Is there Parking at the Survival Race?

    You must purchase a parking pass prior to arriving at the venue for your event. Please note that each venue has limited parking so we strongly recommend purchasing your parking early!

  • Can I drive to the event?

    Not unless you have pre-purchased parking via our website. We are encouraging everyone to take public transport to avoid congestion and to conserve the planet. If you must drive you will need to book your parking early, as it is very limited. Parking fee is £10 per car so please take public transport.

  • Is there Parking at the Festival?
